There is no registration fee to join Thailand Volunteers. We do require a £49 deposit to secure your placement, Once your placement is secure you can access all the available placements on the web site without paying a further deposit to Thailand Volunteers.
There is no further payment before arrival, once you have arrived you will be met at the airport by your coordinator and spend one or two days with your coordinator in Chonburi province, here you will receive a thai culture and orientation course, teacher training plus materials, choice of accommodation and volunteer projects aswell as the necessary transport to your placement.
Once at your chosen placement you will be asked to pay the remaining £200, This helps keep the volunteering scheme flexible if your plans change and you decide to change project.

What happens if just as I register the project fills up?
You will receive confirmation of your place by email within 24 hours (the next working day). If any of our volunteer projects are full or unavailable we will contact you to discuss similar alternatives you may be interested in.

When do I receive confirmation?
Confirmation of your reservation is made by email within 24 hours. For registrations received between Friday evening and Sunday evening confirmation is sent on Monday. Then you can start organising your trip and buying flights.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
There are no cancellation charges. Thailand Volunteers offers all volunteers their money back no questions asked if you cancel and let us know by email we offer 100% refund.
What about flights?
Once you have booked your flight all we require is confirmation of the flight number via email and your coordinator will be there to meet you at the airport, your coordinator will be aware of any delays and you will receive all contact information before leaving the U.K.
